damson gin..
Damson gin must be the nicest drink ever! and my neighbour makes the best, truly yum.. but I had to leave before my senses decided to leave me.
I managed to pop into the barbers and get my haircut today.. only a couple of months overdue. I like it. I asked him for a layered, shaggy, bob, type, messy, chique style. Then on returning home my darling hubby coloured it for me.. so no more grey hairs....

Just want I wanted for Christmas.. a lovely cold sore, thanks, not..
It was a good one though. Very enjoyable with lots of nice food and drink and family.. and now it’s all over.. till next year!

A white Christmas..
Yes, it’s still freezing and there’s still snow.. but an actual snowflake has yet to fall for it to be declared an official ‘white Christmas’. But, in my book.. it’s definitely a white one.
Had a lovely time celebrating a birthday as well as Christmas.. spread over a couple of days.. a great time has been had and now it’s time for wine, chocolate and too much...
Drank copius amounts of white wine at the neighbours last night.. feeling surprisingly well this morning.. considering.. and I’m attempting a tidy up before the guests arrive for Christmas..
Knickers
I’ve ordered new knickers.. well, it is Christmas.
I’m all shopped out and praying I don’t have to visit another supermarket this year. However, that won’t be the case as I’m sure I’ll run out of something before then.
There’s still one parcel that hasn’t arrived.. via the Royal Mail. I hope it comes in time for the big day.. it was, after all,...
A few days away..
Spending some time with the family and loving it. So nice and relaxed down here in Norfolk and thankfully it hasn’t snowed so the chances of getting back to Scotland tomorrow are quite high.
I have eaten too much and drank too much and done not much else but it’s great fun. Even went along to assist in the gundog training today.. ok I watched, but what clever dogs!

Freezing
That’s it. I’ve had enough. It’s fricking freezing. The thaw lasted about a day so the snow is still lying around.. mostly in heaps where we’ve tried to move it out of the way so we can get out of the house!
My life has been cancelled. well, everything I had happening.. is now not.. including Christmas lunches with friends. I don’t know what I’d do without the...
thaw
It seems to have stopped snowing (sssh..) and there seems to be a thaw on as things are ‘dripping’. At least we can now get the cars out of the cul-de-sac. This pleases me!
on the blink..
My little compact camera is on the blink. I managed to fiddle it back to working last night but today I had the same problem again today, with an added focus problem.. I think its on it’s way out - which, given the amount of use and age is understandable.
I have just ordered the replacement from Amazon (much cheaper than I paid for the other one but with better functions, I love new...
